Seniors' Eye Exams
Covered by OHIP
As of September 1st, 2023, seniors over 65 are covered by OHIP for an eye exam every 18 months. It is nonetheless recommended by the College of Optometrists of Ontario that seniors book an annual eye exam, to ensure that they are regularly screened for eyesight degeneration and for the many diseases that can be detected early by a thorough eye exam.
